The Holle Family Foundation and the Alabama Lion's Club provided funds to purchase new band uniforms and instruments for the Alabama School for the Blind to strut their stuff. Featured in the Alabama Institute for Deaf & Blind's Sights & Sounds magazine (Summer 2023), Mike Royer stated that "Everett strongly believed in AIDB and the importance of music. He truly cared about the students at AIDB and wanted everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy music. He would have been so proud of the students and their accomplishments."
On July 8th 2023, the band performed in Boston at the Lions Club parade. Students show that there are no limitations when you believe.
