The Holle Family Foundation was one of several donors who assisted the Presbyterian Home for Children in creating Union Village. The Foundation supported construction of two affordable housing homes on the campus of the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind.
Union Village is a supportive housing community for low-income deaf, blind, deafblind and multi-disabled adults that empowers them to feel safe and independent and live in an inclusive and affordable environment with their peers. It serves individuals from any county in Alabama and is one of the few supportive housing communities specifically designed for this vulnerable population in the United States.
The two homes built were dedicated to Brigadier General Everett Holle's parents, Fred and Evelyn Holle.
